Equipment

  • 1 glass (250 ml)
  • 1 easuring spoon ( for chia seeds)
  • 1 knife (for slicing lemon/lime)

Ingredients

  • ½ lime or lemon freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 glass 200–250 ml coconut water or plain water (room temp or chilled)

Instructions

Step 1: Soak the chia

  • Add chia seeds to the water. Stir well and let them sit for about 10 minutes until they swell.

Step 2: Add citrus

  • Squeeze in half a lime or lemon. Stir again so the flavors blend evenly.

Step 3: Drink fresh

  • Once the seeds have formed a gel-like texture, your drink is ready. Stir one last time before drinking.

Notes

  • If using coconut water, skip adding extra sweeteners — it’s naturally light and sweet.
  • For a smoother texture, soak chia seeds separately first, then add citrus.
  • Best enjoyed on an empty stomach in the morning or 30 minutes before meals.
  • Stir before every sip if the seeds settle at the bottom.
